Please read before signing up. A big THANK YOU to all of our 2009 volunteers. You did a wonderful job. We had many compliments on how friendly and helpful our volunteers were and how you made a big difference in their festival experience. Without all of you – there were over 700 – we could not have had the success that we did.

Time to sign up for 2010. We welcome you back and welcome new comers as well. We again would like you to commit to at least 8 hours of your time for the venue of your choice. If you worked in an area before and would like to work there again please put that down as your 1st choice and make a note in the comment area. I can’t promise that everyone will get their 1st choice but I will do the best that I can to accommodate your request. We would like each volunteer to work just one venue to cut down on the confusion of who is working where. The more flexible you can be on the times you are available the easier it will be to place you where you want to be. The assignments will be on a first come first serve basis so if you want a particular venue sign up early. We will also be looking for people who are willing to help out during the year to help promote the festival (see “Other” category – i.e. St. Patrick’s Day parade, Boilermaker Expo, and many more). If you are willing to help out in these other areas please check that box also and our Special Events Coordinator will contact you when the events are coming up to enlist your help. If you do not see the area you worked in last year put your request in the comment area and just fill in with other choices so your submission will go through.

Again, thanks to all who helped in 2009 and I look forward to hearing from everyone and anyone who is interested in helping to make 2010 even bigger and better.
