Irish Mass
The 4th Annual Great American Irish Festival Irish Mass will be celebrated on Sunday July 25th at 10:30 am in the large tent of the Contemporary Stage. The Mass will be celebrated by John C. Devereux Oneida Co. Div. #1 AOH Chaplain Father Ralph Fraats. A Gaelic Greeting will be offered by Thomas Malley and The Lord's Prayer will by spoken in Gaelic by Deirdre McCarthy. Music will be performed by Pat Kane. Groups participating in the Mass include the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Ladies AOH, the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, the Craobh Dugan branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, the Knights of St. John, and the NYS Corrections Emerald Society.As in previous years, those attending the Irish Mass are granted FREE admission to the festival for Sunday.
